What clients say about Enso

What Is An Ensō?

Ensō, meaning ‘circular form’ in Japanese, and is a form of art as meditation, symbolizing perfection in imperfection – especially when drawn as an incomplete circle.  Usually a person draws the ensō in one fluid, expressive stroke, and once the ensō is drawn, it isn’t changed.  It reflects the character of its creator and the context of its creation in a brief period of time – perfectly capturing that moment.

Ensō represents our belief that all people are both a work in progress, and perfectly imperfect all at once.

The ensō captures our approach in therapy to meet you right where you are, even in the midst of where you want to go.
