Therapy workshops and Group therapy

What is Group Therapy?

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy facilitated by our compassionate, experienced, and licensed therapists. It provides a safe and supportive environment for a small group of individuals to share their experiences, learn new coping skills, and offer encouragement to one another with the help of a trained therapist.

How Can Group Therapy Help with Trauma?

Group therapy can be incredibly beneficial for those who have experienced trauma. Here’s how our approach can address your specific needs:

  • Shared Experiences and Support: Hearing from others who understand what you’re going through can be incredibly validating and help you feel less alone.
  • Learning from Others: You can gain valuable insights and coping skills from the experiences and solutions shared by other group members who are on a similar healing journey.
  • Empowerment and Hope: Witnessing the progress of others in the group can be a powerful motivator and instill hope for your own healing.
  • Building Healthy Connections: Group therapy can help you develop healthy social interaction skills and build a sense of belonging within a supportive community.
  • Professional Guidance: Our experienced therapists guide the sessions, ensure a safe space for exploration, and provide expert guidance throughout your healing process.

Our Therapeutic Approach in Beyond Trauma: A Healing Journey

The group provides a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings related to your past experiences. You’ll connect with other women who understand what you’re going through, fostering a sense of support and camaraderie.

It was a 12 week commitment that scared me to death, but it changed my life! Honestly I learned so much about myself and the unhealthy way I was living life. This class changed my outlook on trauma.

This group really helped me see that I am not alone & the ways I have been reacting are normal based on what I have been through. It also helped me see that I can change things for the better & heal.

I liked that even though we all have a different experience & viewpoint on trauma, that we were free to share our own stories & be validated. It nice to know that I am not alone & I am not broken.

This group has taught me self love, the value of my experiences, & helped me feel less alone in my trauma. I realize how common my own experiences are, despite feeling alone in them for my life.
