Hi, I’m Brecken!
If you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with self-doubt, or carrying the weight of past experiences, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I partner with individuals and families ready for meaningful change, providing a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where you can feel understood and supported. I deeply believe in human resilience, and because no two journeys look the same, we’ll build an approach that feels right for you.
I have a special interest in helping clients work through anxiety, build self-confidence, and heal from complex trauma. If anxiety has you overthinking, avoiding situations, or feeling stuck, therapy can help you regain your footing and move forward with greater freedom. I am also passionate about helping clients quiet their inner critic, recognize their strengths, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves. For those healing from trauma, I provide a safe space to understand how past experiences shape the present, process trauma responses, and build resilience, clarity, and confidence.
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, tailored to each client’s needs. Whether you are seeking practical coping strategies or deeper emotional healing, I’ll meet you where you are and support you as you create meaningful change.
I earned my master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Kansas State University and have experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, and parents ranging in age from 4 to 65. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my dog, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and visiting family in Kansas.
Taking that first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to feel less anxious, more confident, and more like yourself again, I would be honored to go on this journey with you.
