Brecken Wilkinson

MS
Outpatient Therapist

Hi, I’m Brecken!

I’m passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, creativity, and care. I believe healing looks different for everyone, and I enjoy working collaboratively to discover what feels most helpful and empowering for you. Whether you’re processing past experiences or looking for tools to manage everyday stress, I’m here to support your journey toward healing and growth.

I believe in the resilience and strength within each person. My role is to walk alongside you—offering guidance, practical coping strategies, and a safe, supportive space to explore and grow.

In therapy, I draw from a variety of models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and the Satir Model, tailoring each approach to meet your unique needs.

I received my master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Kansas State University. I have two years of hands-on clinical experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, and parents, ranging in age from 4 to 65. These experiences have shaped my warm, authentic, and adaptable approach to care.

Recently, I relocated to Spearfish from Manhattan, Kansas. Outside of the therapy room, I love taking long walks with my dog, diving into a good book, and exploring the beautiful sights of South Dakota.

Brecken works with children, teens, and individuals ages 4 and up.
